I hate them.. I have had 2 luck escapes, and I recon the 3rd is pointing right at me!.. once when I was a kid, they used to keep horses on the field where the Investment Center now stands, and i was playing there when the lighting struck one of the horses. A second time it hit a milk bottle on my mums table.... Yes I get under the stairs!

It was due to lightning that I got me scar and mad haircut... all that 'Voldemort' tackle was done for effect!

I'm more scared of our 'Under The Stairs' - reminds me of the closet that the babysitter got locked in in 'Amityvile Horror' - or the cupboard in 'Carrie' where she was bunged away for being 'gifted evilly'.

Nah... I'll just stand up at Winter Hill next to the transmitter with a metal colander on my head... what could go wrong there?

Nowt like a good old t/storm....thunder, leetnin, rain, wind etc etc...However !!!!!!! When the clouds here are moving like the clappers and there is no wind at ground level and the clouds favver a bit green in colour, you'd best watch out for a house falling on you...first tell tale sign of a tornado

I was definately in the right place-at work away from the windows!!! i saw the rain but didn't hear any thunder-thank goodness!!! I'd've been under my checkout instead of serving-hate storms with a vengeance!!!
When Mr G and I lived at Cerri's, it was a toss-up who got to the stairs first-t'other got hit by a flying hoover LOL!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

As I say I'm not sure about thunderstorm, but it absolutely threw it down at about 7.00ish-then it cleared up as quickly as it came!!! I only saw the rain though:shy1:
