View Full Version : "Man Flu"? Has Columbo getten a cold???
Reet - for all you cynics... I've been coughing up that much green I thowt I were making a cover for a snooker table!
Too much info?
I digress...
Anyhow, a trip to the doctors confirms that I have...
Ahem...
"A chest infection".
So it's a few days 'on the club' (where the HELL does that expression come from?) and antibiotics!
So to all who think that men are marred *rses who run to the doctors at the first snurch, count me out of that - it's the first time I've been to the GPs since November last and I've getten summat genuine!
Thought I'd share that with you all!

Still only the after effects of a cold LOL not "FLU" :lmao::lmao::lmao::wave1:
Ye b*gger... stop being clever!!!
Yes... 'flu' is viral... an infection isn't... so I've not getten 'flu' - man, woman, animal, vegetable, mineral or any other variety!
But... as a man, it is my GOD GIVEN right to moan and sulk and EXPECT sympathy... so where is it?

you will have to ask Mrs Columbo cos you wont get any here LOL :lmao::lmao::lmao::wave1:
No, and I won't get any there either - she has ALSO got a chest infection... and isn't marred like me, so she's not doing that 'affected whimpering cough' that blokes do!
Here... you'll like this:
What's the worst thing about a lung transplant?
COughing up someone else's phlegm!

Surely men who have to go "on the club" are "marred *rses" ? :conf (13):
In all fairness Columbo does work in a hospital so if he's ill, he really shouldn't go to work! I wouldn't be impressed if one of my relatives was ill in hospital and one of the nurses was coughing and spluttering all over them!!!

is that a flower ???? :lmao::lmao::wave1:
I had to have a day off a few weeks ago-cos everything was spinning. i felt like I was totally hammered-even though I'd not had a drink for about 6 months!!!:shock1::shock1: Didn't do it as a sick day though, they did it as a shift swap so it worked out better all round-especially as I ended up working a Friday which is one of the busiest days at work!!:celb (9):
