View Full Version : Outside the Factory
These were took by one of the bigwigs at our factory last week. A real life American Bald Eagle.....very rare sight.....and even rarer to see them around populated areas.

Nice pics stueey, do you know if the Eagle was lost or maybe been blown off course by a storm, we don't see Eagles above Wigan as you probably know stueey, but these days you a lot more Kestrals than you used to do, last week one was dive bombing the grass verge at the side of the slip road, which leads up from the roundabout to the traffic lights at the M6 junction at Orrell and nowadays the massive roundabout and grass verges at the junction of the M6 & M58 are no longer "mown" they have now been left to nature, to either help the local wildlife or to save money, I don't which is true
I dont think that the Eagle was lost. When I say populated area, where I live now the population of the county I live in may equal up to about the same number of people living in the Hawkley Hall area.:conf (13):. The surrounding area of my town is all fields, woods and so on......could be as the eagle was just passing on through.....but still not common to see one in town.
