Pink screen

For a while now my pc screen every now and again starts to go a bright pink then goes back to normal. Last week it went bright pink then the screen went completely white with pink dots running across,when this happened there was no way to close or turn the pc off as it filled the whole screen so I had to switch off at the wall. Switched it back on and everything was ok. Anyone any ideas as to what is wrong with it. I am using my laptop at present but prefer the other pc for games.

Thanks, hubby just gave all wires a good push and twiggle, will leave it on all day tomorrow and see how it goes:thumb_yello: will let you know.

Just put it on now...will have a few games then leave pc on all day see how it goes...got my camera at the ready to take pic.I bet nothing happens cause I want it to:confused1:
