A photograph from the early 20th Century.
Twenty Bridges on the left and the viaduct carrying the Boars Head to Adlington line.

A diesel hauled train crosses Twenty Bridges as it makes its way to Standish Junction.

A diesel train crosses Sennicar Lane bridge near Whelley Junction, the abandoned line on the right went to Haigh Junc.

A short distance South of the last photo was Whelley Junction signal box which was situated near the Rugby Union ground.

On the other side of the valley was Haigh Junction signal box.
The line to the right went to Boars Head Junction Station.
