I saw this on the news this morning-so far there are 7 confirmed deaths and over 60 injured. Apparently one of the vehicles crossing the bridge at the time was a school bus with 60 children on board-many of which have had to escape through windows.
The search is carrying on into the night with many cars still being submerged in the Mississippi River!

News at lunchtime.. seems most cars landed right way up, though some have disapeared in the river. All the kids escaped from the bus, which was shown standing on a slab of bridge in the water.They were saying it is corosion, that seems to have caused the problem.. Hope it isn't terrorists.
