My problem is the pump that circulates the water, as it keeps getting clogged with algae, and then the pressure drops. Has anyone experienced this problem (either with a fountain or a fishpond)?, and how did you surmount it?

I have placed filtration solutions to stop the big stuff, but its the itty-bitty stuff which chorves me :ranting:

Oh, an additional lighthearted picture, this was a squirrel waiting for me to bugger off so it could come into the garden for its peanuts

sound advice. You connect it to your existing filter and it works on uv killing the algae before letting the water flow back into the feature

Pier aquatics on Miry Lane at Wigan is a good place to start.:wink1:

Ta, but i dont think it'll work. BIO filters are for ponds, I have chemicals in the water that do the same job (as I have no fish) but same issue

We used to have a similar water feature in our old house, UV worked for that.
