When i am using the laptop after about 10 minutes of using it, i end up having to close all windows because no pages will load,

I can be happily typing away and when i click reply the little bar on the bottom right usually moves as it loads the page, BUT it just does a quick flash then wont load the page, once that happens no matter what i do like click refresh or click back, That bar just flashes and wont do anything, its as though the page that im on has frozen.

So i end up having to close all tabs and restart firefox, But when i restart it 90% of the time it will just be a white page with nowt happening instead of my homepage "Google" , an i have to do this quite a few times until the page finally loads then i can carry on what i was doin before, 20 minutes or so, it'll happen again :angry2:

I dont know whether am comin or goin :sad1:

Oh and also i have tried using IE and the same happens on that :sad1:

Its soooooo frustrating :ranting:

If that does not make much difference Tracy, it could mean that your computer is full of {CRAP} :shock1::shock1::shock1::shock1:

By which I mean viruses, spyware, worms etc or your laptop has got to many programs running in it, or your laptop has not got enough memory/processing power, this is common in laptops which are more than a couple of years old, what happens is that you constantly upgrade your computer to the latest version of Internet Explorer and Firefox along with the latest flash and other stuff you install on your computer and you should also be downloading the latest patches and fixes from Microsoft and each one of these programs, upgrades and improvements takes up a little bit more of your computers resources, CPU power and memory usage etc or your problem could be a combination of any of the above :smile1:

One thing I would do is try reducing the amount of start up programs in your computer, to do this go to the run command in the start up menu and type in msconfig, a window will appear with some tabs across the top, click on the start up tab and disable all none essential programs, just keeping your antivirus program ticked, that might help :smile1:

Thanx for that Bernard,

I have not been on it long enough yet to see if there has been any difference yet, BUT if it is still the same then i will look into all what you have said,

This laptop is my old one its about 4 yrs old.

In fact you need to wind the bugger up to get it going :angry2::big_smile:
