A neighbour of mine was caught today without any insurance on Pottery Road by a police squad, his car was impounded to a place in Horwich and it will cost him £105 to get his car back plus he will get a stiff fine and quite a few points on his driving license when it goes to court.
My neighbour is upset about what has happened but I am glad, it serves him right for not getting his car insured.

Can't understand what he's upset about. It serves him reet for not having insurance. It's no good belly-aching if you break the law then get caught! I've no sympathy.:nono:

Serves him right . What if he had been in an accident and seriously injured someone. he would have been paying for the rest of his life.

There was lots of policemen and those community support officers down Bolton Road on Wednesday. I wondered what were going on, until i realised that it was a vehicle check.
Then on Pottery Road yesterday, there was police activity.
With regards to the Bolton Road entourage, why does it need so many police around to check vehicles? There must have been at least 10 or more of them.
But i suppose, it serves a purpose, if drivers are flouting the law.

It is good to see that people think the same way that I do about people who dont insure their cars
