TBH when the first ones came out I wasn't that bothered but when the sixth one came out, my eldest was old enough to know about them. She wanted to read them so I thought I'd better read them first to make sure they were suitable for her!! She absolutely loves them and since she started to read them her reading levels have come on leaps and bounds!! They have finally brought the love of reading to her and nowadays she has her nose in a book most of the time!!! If only for that I think they're brill-but I have enjoyed reading them and they are a series I will read over again-unlike a lot of books!!:celb (15):
